Dr. Metzel is a Licensed Psychologist and Addictions Specialist who has provided mental health services for twenty-five years in the private and public sectors as well as within multiple Correctional settings to adolescents and adults. His office is located in Dawsonville, Georgia. He is available to provide psychological services for individuals and their families, Private and Public Agencies, MR/DD Consumers, Providers and their families and is available for travel statewide as well as to neighboring states. He is also available to provide Administrative/Staff Supervision and Training, Assist agencies with Re-Credentialing and review Polices and Procedures.
Other areas of expertise include: Personal Injury (including catastrophic injury), Assisting attorneys with Trial Preparation, Deposition Reviews and providing Second Opinions specific to selected legal matters. In addition, Dr. Metzel has extensive experience specific to the field of Addictions having earned four (4) credentials and assumed the role of Clinical Supervisor/Training Coordinator for the largest statewide out-patient A&D facility which serviced all of Fulton County for over four years. Available MR/DD services include: Developing Positive Behavior Support Plans/Analysis of Baseline and Post-Baseline Data Reports and provide extensive clinical support, guidance, training and supervision to individuals, groups and administrators).
